Use these general steps when installing S&X anti-slip tapes and non-slip bathroom products. Always follow the instructions provided for the specific product and test a small, inconspicuous area first.
Anti-slip tape installation
- Clean and prepare: Remove dust, grease, loose coatings, and other residue. Wipe compatible surfaces with isopropyl alcohol and allow them to dry completely.
- Spot test: Confirm adhesion and surface compatibility in a small area.
- Measure and cut: Cut the tape to length with sharp scissors and round the corners to reduce edge lifting.
- Apply and bond: Remove the release liner, apply evenly, and press firmly across the entire surface. Allow approximately 24 hours for the adhesive to bond before heavy use or exposure to water.
Bathroom sticker installation
- Remove soap film, oils, and cleaning-product residue.
- Rinse and dry the surface completely.
- Arrange and test one sticker before applying the full set.
- Press from the center outward to remove trapped air.
- Allow approximately 24 hours before exposing the installation to water.
Care and removal
- Clean regularly with mild soap and water.
- Avoid harsh solvents unless specifically approved for the product.
- Inspect periodically and replace worn or lifted material.
- For removal, warm adhesive tape gently and peel slowly at a low angle. Test any adhesive remover first.
